Qatar Airways Cargo has joined hands with Cainiao to create a new pattern of global cross-border e-commerce logistics

 

 

On September 10, 2025, against the backdrop of the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce, Qatar Airways Cargo, a leading global international air cargo company, and Cainiao, a global leader in e-commerce logistics, announced at the 2025 Global Smart Logistics Summit held in Hangzhou today that they would further upgrade their long-term strategic cooperation. This signing ceremony marks the comprehensive deepening of the partnership between the two sides, and they will join hands to provide more efficient and stable cross-border logistics solutions for global merchants and consumers.

 

On September 10th, at the 2025 Global Smart Logistics Summit held in Hangzhou, Mark Drusch, the Chief Cargo Officer of Qatar Airways Cargo, and Wan Lin, the CEO of Cainiao Group, officially signed a cooperation agreement. Through this strategic cooperation, Cainiao will increase the number of weekly charter flights on core routes between China and Europe to more than twice the original level, fully relying on Qatar Airways Cargo's global route network and outstanding operational capabilities. The encrypted flights will offer merchants more flexible shipping times and more diverse choices, facilitating the efficient fulfillment of orders exported to Europe, and at the same time providing stronger support for Chinese enterprises to expand their international markets.
