China strengthens regional relations through cross-border railways
China's world-class railway technology has begun to bring geopolitical dividends to its relations with neighboring countries, as numerous cross-border railway lines are helping to expand connectivity and further strengthen the relationship between China and regional trading partners.
At least four railway projects have been built or are being planned between China and neighboring countries, including a connection project between the north and Mongolia, a railway extending westward to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, and a high-speed rail connection line between the south and Vietnam and Thailand.
Analysts say that these transportation and logistics routes extending to Southeast Asia and Central Asia indicate that as the world's second-largest economy becomes increasingly influential in these regions, countries in the region intend to establish more stable ties with China, while also responding to trade uncertainty brought by the US government.

Deloitte Consulting partner Kyle Freeman said, "Nearly 60% of Asia's trade occurs within Asia, and this proportion will continue to grow in the coming years. Therefore, it is reasonable for countries to strengthen their trade and transportation links with the region's largest economy - and in most cases, their largest trading partner
