California mandatory energy efficiency label CEC products are exported to the United States for certification

CEC is a mandatory energy efficiency labeling service in California, the United States. The California Energy Commission of California passed the 2006 equipment energy efficiency management regulations on October 10, 2006, and was approved by the California administrative authority on December 14, 2006. The mandatory regulation includes 21 categories of equipment, and all equipment sold in the California market must obtain CEC before being imported. CEC code includes the regulations of the U.S. Department of energy, and the scope of application of products is greater than federal regulations.

B. Applicable product range

At present, the products targeted are: power adapters, consumer audio-visual products, electronic ballasts, metal halogen ballasts, fluorescent lamps, lighting fixtures and other products. The latest requirement is that the energy efficiency grade of power supply should be increased to V grade or above before it can be imported.
