Up to now, 25 "the Belt and Road" international supply chain service stations have been built in Chengdu. This year, at least 10 will be built, and 15 will be built. By the end of 2027, 100 service stations will be built.
This year 2025, enterprises will also be organized to go to the "the Belt and Road" International Supply Chain Overseas Service Station to carry out supply chain docking activities, and the first International Supply Chain Service Station Partner Conference will be held in Chengdu, which is planned to be held regularly every year from next year.
On February 11, the reporter learned from the Chengdu International Logistics Service Enterprise Sailing Outward Expansion Exchange Conference that, focusing on better serving Chengdu enterprises, this year, Chengdu will build at least 10 "the Belt and Road" international supply chain service stations, organize enterprises to carry out supply chain docking activities at overseas service stations, and hold the first international supply chain service station partner conference in Chengdu to form a regular service to promote "Chengdu products going abroad".
In response to the trend of economic globalization, going global has become a hot topic for enterprises, and Chinese enterprises are expanding into the world at an unprecedented speed and scale. Focusing on expanding high-level opening up, Chengdu has clearly proposed to regularly carry out market expansion actions such as "Rongpin out of Sichuan" and "Rongpin going global", and accelerate the construction of a comprehensive gateway composite international aviation hub.
In international trade cooperation, logistics supply chain plays a crucial role, and enterprises cannot go global without the support of international logistics supply chain. Under the guidance of Chengdu Port Logistics Office and sponsored by Chengdu Supply Chain Association, representatives from the international logistics industry, commercial supply chain industry, manufacturing industry and the "the Belt and Road" international supply chain service station gathered here to discuss and exchange in-depth on hot topics such as how to accelerate the market expansion and how to solve the problem of going to sea.
Overseas service stations are bridges and "relay stations" for enterprises to go global, and their construction is highly concerned by enterprises. "Up to now, 25 the Belt and Road international supply chain service stations have been built in Chengdu. This year, at least 10 will be built, and 15 will be expected. By the end of 2027, 100 service stations will be built." Wang Zhichao, executive vice president and secretary-general of the Chengdu Supply Chain Association, said that, not only that, this year, enterprises will also be organized to go to the "Belt and Road" international supply chain overseas service stations to carry out supply chain docking activities, and the first international supply chain service station partner conference will be held in Chengdu.

It is planned to be held regularly every year in Chengdu from next year to promote logistics supply chain enterprises to strengthen international exchange and cooperation.
According to the statistics of Chengdu Customs, with the deep integration of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, the foreign trade of Sichuan and Chengdu in the "the Belt and Road" initiative has steadily increased year by year. In the last 10 years, the average annual growth of Sichuan's imports and exports to the "the Belt and Road" countries has exceeded 10%, while the number of "the Belt and Road" import and export enterprises has doubled.
In the wave of enterprises accelerating their overseas expansion, it has become necessary to build overseas "maternal home" service enterprises to go global.
Since last May, focusing on making local enterprises better "go global" and bringing in overseas high-quality enterprises, the Municipal Supply Chain Association has cooperated with overseas institutions to build the first "the Belt and Road" international supply chain service station in China, build a bridge between Chengdu and cities along the "the Belt and Road" for economic and trade cooperation, promote the two-way allocation of domestic and foreign resource elements, and provide enterprises with services such as international logistics, customs declaration and clearance, international settlement, overseas warehousing, policy and legal affairs, business docking, commodity display, talent cultivation, investment attraction and intelligence introduction.
