Mexico City, March 20th (Reporter Xie Jianing) On March 20th local time, the third China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo (hereinafter referred to as "Chain Expo") promotion event was held in Mexico City. Zhu Jian, Acting Charg é d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Mexico, Dong Wei, Minister Counselor, Mr. Cesar Fragosa, Vice Chairman of the Mexican Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Technology, Ms. Aleli Sanchez, General Manager of the Asia Pacific Region of the Mexican Foreign Trade Commission, and Zhou Shengsheng, President of the Mexican Association of Chinese Enterprises and General Manager of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Mexico) Co., Ltd., attended the meeting and delivered speeches. More than 60 people, including representatives from the China Mexico Business Association and enterprises, attended the meeting.

Zhu Jian stated at the promotion conference that China and Mexico have long been important economic and trade partners, with trade and investment cooperation advancing side by side and fruitful results. As the world's first national level exhibition with the theme of supply chain, the Chain Expo is not only a stage for display and exchange, but also an important engine for promoting the deep integration of global industrial chains, innovation and cooperation. Welcome more Mexican companies and institutions to use the chain as a medium to meet more excellent partners and explore new growth points for China Mexico cooperation on the Chain Expo platform, enhance communication, cooperation, collaboration, and complementarity with upstream and downstream enterprises around the world, share new opportunities for China's opening up, and make the supply chain a real "win-win chain".
The attending Mexican guests stated that at the second Chain Expo, Mexican companies demonstrated their strength and competitiveness, especially in the fields of automobiles, electronics, and information technology. There is still a lot of room for cooperation between Mexico and China. The third Chain Expo will provide an opportunity for Mexican companies to consolidate and expand their achievements, further expand their international market, enhance competitiveness, and occupy an important position in the global supply chain.
The Chain Expo is not only an important exchange platform for advanced manufacturing, intelligent vehicles and other fields, but also a key bridge to promote international cooperation and innovation. The third Chain Expo will become another milestone in strengthening trade and investment between China, Mexico, and other countries around the world. Several Mexican business associations have stated that they will actively organize industry enterprises and professionals to participate in exhibitions and conferences.

During the event, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Representative Office in Mexico promoted the 3rd Chain Expo on site and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Mexico China Chamber of Commerce and Technology and the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Mexico Branch for the 3rd Chain Expo. As the world's first national level exhibition with supply chain as its theme, the Chain Expo has been successfully held twice in China since 2023.
The 3rd Chain Expo will be held in Beijing from July 16 to 20, 2025, with exhibition areas for advanced manufacturing chains, clean energy chains, intelligent automotive chains, green agriculture chains, digital technology chains, healthy living chains, and supply chain services. Currently, more than 200 companies have signed up to participate in the exhibition.
