Establish A Cross-border Air Express Line For Trade Between China And Japan! The International Cargo Flight Route From Jinan To Tokyo Has Officially Taken Off.
Establish a cross-border air express line for trade between China and Japan! The international cargo flight route from Jinan to Tokyo has officially taken off.

On August 8th, a Boeing 737 cargo plane operated by China Post Airlines took off smoothly from Jinan Airport and flew to Tokyo, Japan. This marked the official launch of the "Jinan-Tokyo" international cargo route. The establishment of this air logistics channel has injected new impetus into cross-border trade between China and Japan and has also built a more efficient cooperation platform for regional opening up.
This flight is fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce goods. It is expected to take off on the 2nd and arrive at Tokyo Narita Airport 3 hours later. The flight can reach customers across Japan as early as the same day. As a key measure in response to the 2025 Cross-border Trade Facilitation Special Action, the international cargo flight route from Jinan to Tokyo precisely implements the "Smooth Access to Japan and South Korea" route development goal with a stable operation capacity of "three flights per week", providing a safe and reliable air bridge for the efficient circulation of goods between China and Japan.

In addition, the opening of this route not only enriches the international flight network of Jinan Airport, but also will promote the formation of a new aviation logistics development pattern characterized by "international leadership and domestic linkage". Leveraging the geographical advantage of Jinan, which connects the north and the south and links the east and the west, and combining with the nationwide network resources of the postal system, through the multimodal transportation mode of "air transport + land transportation", it can achieve "next-day delivery" for cross-border parcels, providing more cost-effective logistics solutions for cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
It is worth noting that on the same day, Jinan Airport also signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shandong Branch of China Post Express Logistics. In the future, the two parties will deepen their cooperation in core areas such as expanding international cargo airline routes, strengthening supply organization, expanding international postal routes in Jinan, and "air-to-air" joint transportation business cooperation. Together, they will enhance the layout of the cargo flight network in Jinan. These series of collaborative measures not only achieve the complementary advantages of market entities but also provide strong support for attracting domestic and foreign cargo and mail to be quickly distributed at Jinan Airport.

Next, Jinan Airport will take the opportunity of the new route launch to continuously deepen its involvement in the international freight market. Through precise planning, it aims to fully cover key hubs in East Asia, Southeast Asia, Southern Europe, Central Asia, etc., and strive to establish efficient freight channels connecting the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with Central Asia, West Asia, and Europe. It will fully promote the expansion and upgrading of the international freight route network, constantly highlighting the node value of Jinan Airport in the global air freight network, and writing a more significant "Jinan chapter" in the high-quality development of air logistics.
