Polymer material testing
Polymer material testing
Polymer materials are widely used. We will use corresponding materials according to specific needs, and the characterization of material properties is an indispensable means. Applicable products: plastic, rubber, paint, adhesive, ink, etc.
Service content:
Polymer materials are indispensable in today's life. Rubber, plastics, fibers, coatings, adhesives and related composite materials, which can be attributed to the detection of polymer materials.
China has also standardized the quality testing of polymer materials, and the implementation and release of relevant testing standards have been relatively perfect. Of course, the quality supervision and testing system carried out by the third-party testing institutions comes into being.
At present, polymer material testing has been widely involved in scientific research, production, sales, procurement, trade, quality defect analysis and other fields. Stable and reliable performance is the fundamental to ensure the normal use of materials. Prediction and monitoring are conventional means. WSCT provides comprehensive testing services for polymer materials.
1、 Recommended items for polymer material testing
There are many kinds of polymers, and the performance testing items of different polymer materials are naturally different.
Take polymer coatings as an example
Physical properties we recommend testing its density, color, appearance, hardness, acid value, ash content, stickiness, flexibility, fineness and other indicators.
For routine use performance, we recommend testing its adhesion, hiding power, grinding resistance, impact resistance, etc.
Fiber polymer materials can focus on the detection of their chemical fiber composition, quantitative chemical analysis, oil content, purity, moisture regain, air permeability, electrostatic properties, flame retardancy and so on.
Similar to polymer composites such as plastic alloys and FRP products, it is recommended to test component analysis, tensile properties, peel strength, impact properties, thermal conductivity, combustion properties and so on.
