The first plenary session of the National Convenient Transport Commission in 2025 was held at the Ministry of Transport to review the list of members, work plans for sub committees and special working groups, summarize the work of 2024, analyze and judge the situation, and study and deploy the work of convenient transport in 2025.
The meeting pointed out that in 2024, all member units of the National Convenient Transport Committee will conscientiously implement the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, actively promote the development of international transportation facilitation, and for the first time, important international transportation channels such as the China Europe Trans Caspian Highway Express, the China Shanghai Peru Qiankaiala Land Sea New Corridor, and the Greater Mekong Subregion will be connected.
The radiation capabilities of China Europe freight trains, international civil aviation transportation, and cross-border postal logistics will continue to increase, effectively serving the overall diplomatic situation and supporting Sino foreign economic and trade cooperation and personnel exchanges.
The meeting emphasized that international transportation is an important foundation for connecting the world and serving the construction of a new development pattern. We should accurately grasp the new situation and new requirements of international transport development, accelerate the improvement of international transport service network, improve the security and resilience of international logistics supply chain, and provide strong support for high-quality joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and promoting higher level opening up.
We need to collaborate and jointly leverage the role of the National Facilitation Committee mechanism.
Promote the orderly operation of the Air Transport Simplification Procedure Subcommittee of the National Facilitation Committee and three special working groups to effectively solve practical problems. We need to make key breakthroughs and jointly implement the key tasks for 2025. Accelerate the improvement of the national convenient transportation agreement system, continuously optimize the market environment, improve port clearance efficiency, deepen the interconnection of international transportation channels, and enhance the security and resilience level of the international logistics supply chain.
We must work hard for a long time and jointly plan for the long-term development of convenient transportation in the country. Focusing on expanding the scope of external cooperation, improving the regulatory and standard system, innovating transportation facilitation measures, enhancing safety and emergency response capabilities, and cultivating and strengthening market entities, we will continue to plan and promote the high-quality development of international transportation during the 15th Five Year Plan period.
