Recently, the 2025 E-commerce High Quality Development Achievement Conference was held in Yiwu, Zhejiang. More than 300 representatives from relevant government departments, expert think tanks in the field of e-commerce, industry organizations, leading enterprises, and relevant universities gathered together to showcase the latest achievements of international cooperation in e-commerce, share excellent enterprise practice cases, promote the healthy and sustainable development of "Silk Road e-commerce", and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of global trade.

The center is willing to rely on the Yiwu Global Small Commodity Network and the center's international resources to jointly build a hub node for "Silk Road e-commerce" and cultivate a new ecosystem of digital trade.
It is reported that in 2024, Yiwu will successively implement and deepen the comprehensive reform of international trade in Yiwu and the two "national brands" of the China Europe freight train assembly center. The number of e-commerce entities in the city has exceeded 750000, and the online retail transaction volume has ranked first in Zhejiang Province for seven consecutive years. The express delivery business volume has remained second in the country. Yiwu's sea, land, and air logistics system connects nearly 750 hub nodes worldwide, with a global layout of 210 overseas warehouses.

According to the latest data from the customs, in 2024, the import and export scale of Zhejiang's foreign trade exceeded 5 trillion yuan for the first time. The export volume of cross-border e-commerce in the whole province reached a new historical high of 358.68 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 10.1%, marking a new record for the development of Silk Road e-commerce in Zhejiang Province.

As the world's largest small commodity distribution center, Yiwu is comprehensively promoting the digital reform of the market, weaving three networks of domestic, international and online, and establishing trade relations with more than 230 countries and regions. E-commerce and other new business entities account for one-third of the province's total. In 2024, the response speed of Yiwu's small commodity supply chain will leap to the unit of "hour", and the cross-border e-commerce transaction volume will exceed 140 billion yuan, with a growth rate of up to 15.63%.
